Dr Francis Olanrewaju has joined Plasma2X as Head of Engineering.

Francis joins us from Clean Burner Systems where he worked on a Green Distilleries project funded by the UK Department for Energy Security & Net Zero.

Previous to that, Francis completed his PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Leeds and was also Principal Engineer at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure in Abuja, Nigeria.

As Head of Engineering at Plasma2X, Francis will be leading on our product development, from the design process through to commissioning and operation.

Francis says: “I’m really excited to be joining Plasma2X as I’m passionate about technology that can make a tangible difference to the planet. The role is highly relevant to my primary field and will both complement and challenge my expertise acquired to date.”

Outside of work, Francis enjoys singing in his local church choir and has combined this with some past exploits in poetry to compose and learn the keyboard.
